Forest School Week 8

This week when we arrived at Box Moor Trust we spoke about what ‘Camouflage’ is. The Box Moor Trust leaders showed us different pictures and we spoke about why animals would need to be camouflaged. On the walk to the outdoor classroom we turned into birds and had to find 3 worms each (pieces of wool). We were then shown how to make willow/leaf crowns and could make one if we wanted to. The other activities were to use netting and weave different natural materials through it to make it camouflaged, making swings for the animals, mud pictures on tree trunks and playing hide and seek in the wigwam.
